NO for me. It's probably been at least 5 years since I set up a projector. Anything not shot in digital is scanned and only viewed on the computer screen before being printed.

Yes. I shoot mostly 35mm slides (for work & play) and project them "the old fashioned way" all the time. My clients enjoy it. I don't shoot digitally at all.
Shoot yes, project no. I would really rather shoot color neg but could not find a lab that could process this totally free of drying marks, so I shoot color reversal giving about 2/3 of a stop less exposure than the box speed and scan the results - the pics would be too dark to project anyway.
Yes, I do both. I find it much easier to drop slides in a tray and look at them on the big screen than to scan them and look at them on a much smaller, non colour corrected screen.
Maybe I'm spoiled because I picked up a Leica projector quite cheaply? There is a huge difference between looking at slides on a Kodak carousel and a Leica, I couldn't believe it when I got the Leica.
I haven't shot slides for about 9-10 years now, last time was when my daugther was a baby, got some nice shots which I eventually printed. I have been shooting mostly colour film, but got a Mamiya M645 last summer and that's bringing me back into B+W. I hadn't thought of slide, but now you have planted the seed ....
