Default Yashica Electro and IR film?

Greetings all,

I just picked up a beautiful Yashica Electro GSN and I was wondering about using it with infrared film. I know that there there are lighted arrows in the viewfinder that indicate when your shutter speed is slow or fast. So I was wondering if these little lights would at all fog the sensitive IR emlusion. Anyone here ever use the Electro with IR film?

Many thanks,
Mike

How can they fog the emulsion ? After all light enters a viewfinder and that doesn't fog conventional film
