Nikon SLR lens to Leica M adapters
My new used Nikkor 18mm is on the way, and I want to make a home for it, my Leica M6 and my EOS 1v. Finding an adapter for Nikon to EOS is simple, but Nikon to Leica is not really common.
As far as I know there are three adapters available:
- Novoflex (this means >150 Euros/$220)
- Cameraquest (124 Euros/$179 plus shipping from USA)
- Cheapskate ebay stuff from Hong Kong (55 Euros/$80)
Do you know any of these adapters?
-
All are good. You might find the old Canon sequence of adapters... Nikon to Canon FD>FD to LTM> LTM to M.
Worked great. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

See, also, www.adrianololli.com (have an english page)
Is a truly refined italian artisan, that made personally many adapters for the Leica M bayonet (Nikon, Leica R, Contax/Yashica, M42).
Ciao.

Today I was lucky and found two used Novoflex adapters, that's it for me :-)
But I have a question to Vincenzo: how good are Lolli's adapters? Really precise?
-
I own two adapters made by Lolli: a LTM/Nikon and a LTM/M42x1. Both i use on Canon 7 or Bessa L and, via LTM/Leica M adapters, on Leica M bayonet. These adapter work very well, are both precisely made and beautyfully finished.
Ciao.

Vincenzo, I tried to contact him by mail some months ago and a few days ago with a few questions - no reply at all. Doesn't he talk to his customers?
-
I do not know, indeed.
Ciao.
