    Regardless of the bulge this is the specification of the area you can see vs. the exposure.

    "Viewfinder: Eye-level pentaprism type, with 93% frame coverage and 0.86X viewfinder magnification with 50mm set at infinity"

    Most of the small cameras I've seen have this "problem", only a few actually show 100%.

    Out of curiosity I looked a bit more and the F, F2, F3, F4, F5, seem to specify "virtually" 100% coverage.
