Actual F6 Info Links
As the other thread about this beastie currently requires an armed escort and full body armour to enter, I dug out a couple of F6 links other than the Nikon one.
I've posted this there but I think it will get missed in all the fallout.
ephotozine or Simon Stafford's for pictures of the actual beast.
Errrrrm both these links do go straight to the F6 page and I have no connection with either but it looks nice

Easy peasy Jorge but I have to admit in 35mm I'm addicted to Nikon almost as much as Rodinal soup LOL Now all I need is a drop of red paint to make my F100 look like an F6

I am sad to see it is bigger than the F5 when you use the grip. and shocked to see a KEVLAR® shutter!

Brian - Is a KEVLAR® shutter a problem? Sorry I'm a mechanical idiot unless it's tractor lever.
Jorge - Thank you but I am just the messenger LOL

I think the size would end up being a problem. For me at least. For 35mm, I want fast and light. I find the Kevlar shutter interesting. That is what they make bullet proof vests out of around these parts. I believe the shutter will outlast 35mm film.

I'm with you on the size as I find with my smaller hands the F100 is quite big enough, happily I have strong fingers for it to hang off. "Bullet proof vests" ... that's where I would have heard of it before. Reading the articles it sounds like they have made an all out effort on this one and £1500 isn't a ridiculous price tag for a change.
-
Yeah, $2700 for a 35mm film camera is quite high. But seriously, the F5 was built like a tank, this one, with a kevlar shutter, will be the last 35mm film camera we would ever need to buy.

Sorry Brian I didn't make myself clear. I think the price tag is really good for what this beastie is offering and as you say this one's going to last a lifetime
