    One thing I would mention about the CL is up-close focusing with fast lenses is often an issue due to the shorter rangefinder base length. i.e. I cannot use my Summarit with it wide open or even f/2 for shots closer than say 12 feet or so, and even my 50/2 Summicron-DR has out of whack focus issues very close up wide open. Just FYI.

    Very interesting piece of blog (as is the case with your musings about the EF primes)
