    Meaning of EV+1

    I have a Leica Mini Zoom 35-70 Elmar and its menu have a function as EV +1.
    Does it for one stop darker pictures ? I really need that option .

    I think it means over exposure.

    I think it means your adding 1 exposure value or add one stop. It's often used to bias automatic settings in camera. If you use the + or - setting all the time, might as well use manual setting.
