Mechanical slr camera with 100% viewfinder beside nikon F/F2/F3

    Hi all,

is there any? I am looking at specs of many cameras - but did not find any mechanical slr camera that has 100% viewfinder beside F/F2/F3.

    thanks,

The Canon F1 older version is mechanical and has 100% viewfinder. The newest version is not. The F3 isn't mechanical either.

I think there was a Minolta with exchangeable prism..... but probably not 100% mechanical

And the early Leicaflex is candidates too, I think.

Check out the new Kenko cameras. They are mechanical but I'm not sure about the viewfinder.

What's the prize for coming up with the most cameras?

I don't think those cameras (100% viewfinder) were ever that popular because the most common presentation of photographs is a white border, which of course requires some image overlap (loss) onto the easel blades.

I think slides when mounted generally cut off some of the image too.
