Roberto Miglioli
Hello Guys.
Despite my name sounds Italian Iīm actually brazilian (all my fatherīs ancestors are Italian). So please forgive me if I make many english mistakes and feel free to correct me whenever possible. I would really appreciate that instead.
Henning Serger (Photokina Report) introduced me to apug.org a few months ago and since then Iīv been following this forum. Itīs amazing how many people are still into analog photography.
Iīm not a professional photographer but I do work on a photography-related company. Not being a professional photographer allows me to shoot 99% on film. Digital only for a quick-load on internet. I like shooting 120 with Rolleiflexes (have 6) and sometimes 135 with Yashica FX-2.
Sometime ago my GAS was out-of-control but now Iīm done with gear (ok, maybe a Hassel or two). Now I spend my money stocking films and on a near future I will spend some more money on chemicals. Itīs almost impossible to find a place in Sao Paulo with a reasonable cost to develop E6, so I bought a Jobo ATL-1500 and will mix the chemicals to home-develop E6. You guys have already helped me with lots of information, thanks.
I run a "camera style" blog, saopaulocamerastyle. Unfortunatelly itīs very difficult to find someone shooting film in the streets of Sao Paulo to post only pictures of people shooting film in the streets like John Sypal does at tokyocamerastyle whose idea I borrowed. So I talk about the analog photography comunity in Brazil in general: people I know, places I go, stores, repair shops, developing places, etc.
Finally I would like to thank all you guys for this amazing place where I will certainly learn much, much more than I will teach. And sooner as possible I will make a donation ($$) for this forum.
Best Regards.
Edit: this guy is my pal. I didnīt know he was also introduced to apug.org.

I guess coming across in the streets others using film cameras is a rarity for most people here at Apug.

At your blog
http://saopaulocamerastyle.wordpress.com/ I saw a camera in bright yellow I recently bought due to its colour. However, in that photo it is accompanierd by brothers in other colours... I guess your blog could be harmful to peoplle hoarding cameras...
