    Finally decided to join APUG

I've known about this place for a while and been active in other photographic communities (reddit, etc.), but the analog knowledge base here dwarfs everything else. A few days ago I reached the point of photographic-no-return when I got a large format press camera and reading through threads here and on the large format forum was invaluable. Figured I would get involved here since I want to give some alternative developers and processes a try.

Some good photographic minds, Tom1956? This site is a veritable brain trust! Just reading through some of the threads has been, on more than a few occasions, both an enlightening and humbling experience. What continues to astonish is the generosity of fellow APUGers. Oh by the way, Amfooty, welcome to APUG!
An assortment of F-series Nikons (F to F6, excluding the F4) with quite a few Nikkors, a pair of M6s with some Leitz glass, a pair of 500c/ms with a wide range of Zeiss optics and, just to help keep Duracell solvent, a D800.

    Favourite films: (1). KE ("Kodachrome Era"): 35mm: PKM25 and PKR64, HP5/Tri-X; 120: PKR64, PanF, FP4. (2). PKE ("Post-Kodachrome Era"): (a) 35mm: E100G, HP5 Plus/Tri-X and Delta 3200; (b) 120: E100G, PanF Plus, FP4 Plus, TMax 100.

Press cameras can be fun I have 3 or 4, I tend to use them hand-held. It's a steep learning cuve so good luck and welcome to APUG.

I think the best thing about APUG is the sense that we're all in this together. It's not a preachy site. Welcome to the crowd.
