nice ole-fashioned hand shake anyone?
i'm new at this. in all ways. i'm a lurker, hence, a 'wannabe' photographer. no, screw that, i am a photographer. i've been taking pictures since i was able to point my finger, which is about the age of 4. my grampa bought me my first camera when i was 6. granted, they've been shiny hot pink 110's and polaroids, but that's something now i'm just a regular ole 35 mm girl until i can afford medium format, or get the 35 mm thing down i Love Sally Mann photography, and abhor Ansel Adams (rather, the popularity of him-- he's very talented). i'm currently reading a biography about Diane Arbus, though i must admit, i wasn't a fan of her photography at first. i Love black and white photography, don't know that i'll ever get out of that phase. just bought a digital, or was bought, and just starting to get used to it. the darkroom is much more cathartic than a computer screen to me. don't know all the lingo, want to learn, more than anything. and. . . well, i think that's all.
nice to meet you
