    Hi from Chicago!

I didnt see this thread when I first arrived, better late than never.

I've been shooting film for some time now. I've been holding off on digital until I see that first 20meg consumer priced camera on the market.

When I say consumer priced I do mean no higher than 700.00. This is a dream, so I guess digital may never make it into my collection.

So this is my big HELLO from Chicago. Its a great site and I hope it sticks around for many years to come.

Welcome Spiralcity. You are not dreaming, but rather having nightmares, stick with the film.
    Regards Dave.

    Welcome.
I was born in that Toddling Town but left when I was still toddling. My Folks moved East and being Two and a Half, I figured I'd better tag along with them.

No matter what your level of expertise or area of photo specialty, you'll be sure to find plenty of informative and interesting threads here.
That is called grain. It is supposed to be there.
