    Danish gal calling

    hi all

I ´have been persuated to write this thread (you guess who did it......). so bear with me.

I am Stine from Denmark, Europe.
I am a psycology student at the university, but also totally in love with photography.
my teacher/mentor/boyfriend is "Gandolfi", and he was the reason I entered this world, after having been his models for some years.

Listening to his teaching over and over again made me think, that maybe I could use some of that accumulated, but passive knowlegde into something active.

    ....and then I was hooked.

I love the very slow processes, such as Lith printing - bromoil printing - oilprinting and lately anthotypes. (my latest exposures was around 6 weeks.....)

painting with light - making self portraits are also some of my favourite techniques/areas of photography.

I am a little intimidated with all the wisdom/knowlegde that is in here, but there you go. I might learn a thing or two.

    anyway, here I am.

Welcome to APUG from Minnesota, USA. I look forward to see your contributions here! I suspect Emil can answer many of your questions, but I found that sometimes it's good to explore on your own, and that's when APUG has been an invaluable asset to me. I hope it will be to you too.

Welcome, and with Gandolfi as a teacher/mentor it's many of us who should feel intimidated!

Hi, Welcome to this forum, Stine. You are lucky to have such a person as your mentor and boyfriend

I admire his work especially the light painting part. You are in good hand.
