Hi,

I'm Ben, from Norwich, UK. I've been browsing arround the photography sites for a while now - its nice to see somewhare thats not going to get swamped by digital! I work in IT for pre-press, so its nice that my hoby can let me get away from the keyboard.

Although I've been taking photos for as long as I can remember I've only recently decided to take it up seriously. A few months ago I inhereted an Olympus OM10 with a 28mm and a 50mm lens - I took a B&W/darkroom course at the local collage and now I'm hooked! I've just finished setting up a darkroom in my shed, and sucessfuly developed a couple of rolls of film. I have a very old Zenith enlarger, which I'll probably replace as soon as money allows.

I'm definatly a beginner (so please forgive me if I seem to be asking dum questions!) but I'm very keen to develop my skils.

Anyway, just thought I'd introduce my self - please forgive my apalling spelling!

Ben.

Thank you for your kind welcomes!

I found the site in the Google directory (Arts > Photography > Resources > Chats and Forums).

This seems like a very friendly, useful place and a great resource.

Thanks again,

Ben.
