    My Holyland Desert Images

When introducing myself I neglected to include links to my work (cf. “Newbie from Israel”, 11-05-08). My shoots take me to the Judean Desert and the Negev, both areas mentioned in the Bible. Here are the links:

(N.B. Some pics here can't be enlarged--try your luck.)

The second link shows the Dead Sea under very unusual weather conditions. I didn't introduce the blue tint with an effects filter--never use ‘em. Rather, the proximity to water and a rare fog did the trick.

All images at these links were shot with my trusty OM4Ti on the original Fujichrome Velvia.

    Any feedback will be appreciated!

First link doesn't work. Beautiful Dead Sea image. Welcome to the forum.
    Thank you.

    HOLYLAND DESERT IMAGES REDUX

Here's the correct second link. (Somehow the 2nd link I gave above was incorrect.)

    http://www.mfa.gov.il/MFA/MFAArchive...d%20Clapsaddle
N.B. Scroll way down once you're at the page please.

And, repeating my first link, the Dead Sea landscape:

    Enjoy!

Nice work-please post more. My wife went to Isreal last year, but I have not been yet. I'm looking forward to the day I can come see for myself. I'm new here as well but already feel at home. Cheers.
