This is absolutely untrue. The site's moderators keep the forum on topic. Digital subjects are off-topic on APUG, which is why there is a sister forum called Hybridphoto, where negative scanning etc. can be discussed.

Welcome in, Ed. The problem here is not an overload of argument, but a whole great load of suggestions and help in spending more money and more time on more stuff. Great group here. Enjoy it.

How is it "absolutely untrue" when you went and said the same thing as I did? Re-read what you wrote, it makes no sense at all.

You wrote: 'the site's moderators enforce a rather strict anti-digital policy'

That is simply not true. APUG is NOT 'anti-digital' and neither are the moderators. This is a site dedicated to traditional photographic methods. That is entirely different to being 'anti-digital'.

Now kids... let's not fight over semantics. Poor Ed will think he's just stepped into yet another Photo.Net experience!

Welcome to APUG, Ed where film is the rule and you are most assuredly "home"!

A warm welcome from the United Kingdom. Yes this is the best photo related forum I have encountered so far. Hardly any flame wars (is that the expression?) and not too much fixation with MTF statistics. A great bunch of chaps (and chapesses).
