    Hello there

    Hello analogue photographers!

My name is norters and I am from Liverpool in England. I am a keen digital (is that OK?!) photographer who has not long fallen back head over heels in love with film. I have recently purchased a little plastic toy camera and today I will take possession of a Zenit EM 35mm SLR!

I got my first roll of film developed yesterday since about 1999 and the word excited doesn't even enter into it! I love not being able to review on the fly so it makes me think and plan a lot more than I do with my digital cameras.

I look forward to participating in this community.

    Thanks for having me.

Welcome, glad you are enjoying the rediscovery.

Sure shooting digital is fine, a lot of us do. We just don't talk about it here, that's what APUG's sister site DPUG is for.

Welcome to APUG from down south!

I guessed you were from the UK when I saw the title of the thread

It's quite OK to be a digital camera user, but you might want to talk about that over at DPUG!

Did you develop the film yourself, or have it done somewhere? Either way, there's nothing that beats the excitement of seeing the pictures. It's a thrill that never seems to wear off.
