"One of the most singular characters of the hyposulphites, is the property their solutions possess of dissolving muriate of silver and retaining it in considerable quantity in permanent solution" — Sir John Frederick William Herschel, "On the Hyposulphurous Acid and its Compounds." The Edinburgh Philosophical Journal, Vol. 1 (8 Jan. 1819): 8-29. p. 11
I am new to APUG, but have been blogging for some time (since 2004) I am not sure about the blog as a marketing tool, unless you put a lot of work into making it so. My blog is essentially my visual notebook and a place to rant. It turned out to be a lot of fun and I got to meet, sometimes in person, people from all over the place that I would not get to know otherwise. There is a lot of interesting analog photography out there... (Bjorke, I like your blog- a lot of information there to keep thinking over). Mine is a mix of digital and analog stuff. Corner stores gallery, tug boat series, chefs, and most of South End series are analog.
I am really looking forward to being a member of APUG here.
