    Wooohooo!

If the IOC gave out medals for journalists, he should be donning the gold in my book. Love his aesthetic.

David ships his sheet film from London to New York City for processing. He's crossing his fingers if he's got something unique to celebrate the Olympics. If not, he tells me he'll blame the results on the lab. Dave is a funny guy.

I've met Burnett a few times. He's a cool guy. I even shot a photo of him at his first book signing with my speed graphic!

Did you have him sign your Speed?!
At least with LF landscape, a bad day of photography can still be a good day of exercise.

I had a chance to assist him here in Atlanta back in 2003, I think. He shot a ton of 4x5 Polaroid negs of some Olympic fencers. Wish I had made a photo of him at work for my memory book.

He had also recently acquired a Canon 10D, and I was proud to be able to show him a few details on its operations.

Very cool; thanks for sharing, Suzanne. I really like Dave Burnett, and wish I was as privileged as a couple of the above folks to meet him in person. Way to go!
