Shawn, as an example of the contents of the book, Brett Weston at One Hundred, was this piece written by his longtime friend Richard Miller. It captures the early years I was speaking of in Brett's career, written with love and insight. I will attach it in case it is unfamiliar to you or other members of this forum.

A great article by Richard Miller. Thanks, Merg, for providing the link.
Miller says "He was just an inveterate photographer. Wherever you put him, thatís what he did. He took pictures. I wouldnít even call it a passion; it was just his way of life. And he did it. He didnít do anything else."

Sexton: "Mr Weston you said you only had 20 minutes."
Brett: "Oh I've got time don't you have prints you want to show me?"
Sexton: "Yes we do, you said you didn't want to see them."
Brett: "I didn't think I'd like you guys you're from Southern California."

LOL! This is great stuff. Love Sexton's impersonation of Brett's voice. Thanks again for the link

This would be a good day to remember Brett, his birthday! Born on December 16, 1911.
