    James Fee

I had posted a thread a few weeks ago, but in the wrong forum accidentally. Anybody have any thoughts on his work? I like his Road photographs.

That's a major bummer. I hadn't heard he had died.

I think Fee is (was) one of the best living photographers. Great stuff. His landscape work was extraordinary. He was one of the few who was able to see landscape work as more than a dead-end exercise in creating pretty pictures--going over the same old ground, again and again.

I am greatly saddened to hear the news.
