Default Joe Cornish Exhibition at Hoopers Gallery in London

Hoopers Gallery have an exhibition of the landscapes of Joe Cornish opening on Friday 30th May. Having seen the images to be shown I'd recommend it to anyone who can make it into London.

We popped into Joe's gallery in Stokesley in North Yorkshire when we were in the area a few weeks back. It's in a lovely position in a pretty town. The prints are excellent and numerous and I was lucky enough to walk out with a limited edition print of his wonderful 'Contours in Blue'. I've long admired this image and my wife agreed to buy it for me for me as a 40th birthday which was very nearly two years ago (we've been looking for just the right photo or painting for all that time!)

If you get the chance to pop into either of Joe's galleries it's well worth doing so and while you're in the area you can visit and photograph many of Joe's favourite subjects including Roseberry Topping (covered in two feet of snow when we climbed it in April) and Staithes.
