Found a book with William Henry Fox Talbot's photographs, in the photo museum in Deidesheim. Not a bad photographer at all, though he's better remembered as the inventor of the negative/positive process...

    If you love Jazz!

Here is my selection for today. If you love Jazz or photographs of musicians, check out the work of Karlhienz Kluter. He has 400 images of jazz artists taken between 1960 and 1983. Great images and a fantastic historical resource.

I'm shooting more square images than ever before and also doing more b&w work, too. So, this morning I'm looking at Michael Kenna's site, http://www.michaelkenna.net/ and photographs from our own Thomas Bertilsson, http://www.apug.org/forums/portfolio...395&pp=8&what=.

There is a reprint of a 1999 Art in America article about the work of Moriyama on American Suburb X:

Don McCullin...trying to get a reasonably-priced copy of his 'Sleeping with Ghosts', but about $260 at Amazon is just too steep for me.

I really like Vanessa Winships Black Sea and Balkan's work. She has maybe been mentioned already, but just in case.
