I like the part where he puts the print in his (kitchen) microwave. That was funny .

my mum would kill me if she saw me do that. I'm surprised though that the silver in the paper didn't react like metals do in the microwave(at least in mine). Sparks, arcing, etc....

    or too little silver?

Fantastic video! In part 3 he talks with Rosario Mazzeo, the great clarinetist with the Boston Symphony. Mr. Mazzeo was a great influence on my clarinet playing through his book. It was great to see him and A. A. together. Music and photography, a great combo

Ansel Adams is using Oriental paper!

I'll have to pick some up next time.

    Thanks for sharing!

The Oriental Seagull of Ansel's day isn't the same as the current version, but when I tried out the current version a few years ago I still liked it.

"Shall I go to the kitchen?"

My wife got me that DVD a couple of years ago. I found it quite funny that a microwave was not in his darkroom / print trimming and mounting area as large as it was. It seemed odd that he apparently chose to travel to the kitchen to check the dry down of the whites---wander how far the darkroom is from the kitchen?.
