Threads merged and moved to the "Photographers" forum, since he wasn't only an actor. Mike Johnston posted an obit drawing attention to Hopper's photographic work--

You can see he was on the right time frame, on the right spot with the right TriX film.

    So wonderful, such great pictures.

Yes, he did shoot b/w (there's a particularly good pic of Paul Newman), but he also did fashion shoots at Elle magazine for a time where his eldest daughter, Marin, was an editor. In fact, he may have done some as recently as 2009. Yes... indeed, RIP.

RIP Dennis. You were a fabulous man.Dennis Hopper may have gone too soon, but perhaps not for his soon-to-be-ex wife: Though he filed for divorce in January, the tempestuous pair were still legally married when Hopper died yesterday morning, TMZ reports, potentially setting up an epic battle in probate court.

I love him in "Blue Velvet". He was the perfect combination of weird and bad guy.

Enjoyed the link on Dennis Hopper a lot. I'm guessing he embraced life and lived it fully.
