From today's New York Times Lens blog, Paul McDonough's street pictures from New York city in the 70's. I studied with him years ago in the early 80's, and have admired this work for a long time. Something about street photography... it's an incredible record of the human condition. Worth a look...

Thanks for the link. His photographs seem to "project" the atmosphere of the characters and location. Particularly enjoyed 'Three Car Salesman'.
