Ansel Adams video on SFMOMA site

    Hi all,

Just discovered through a link on another site, that the San Fransico Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA), has a nice collection of videos and podcasts concerning art and artists, including photographers.

    Multimedia section of SFMOMA:

There is a nice little old Ansel Adams 2 1/2 minute video here, with him talking about his working methods and actually seen at work in the field and in the darkroom:

I just hope the short hand-aided wash he shows here was not his usual ways of doing things , I fear for the archivability of all those valuable prints otherwise

Another potentially interesting video I haven't yet fully explored is the one below. Video is in six parts, I have posted the links in the proper order (ignore the numbers, the last video is no. 420):

"Analog is chemistry + physics, digital is physics + math, which ones did you like most?"

I didn't realize it, but the second video series is actually a kind of very long plenary session on the topic that went on on two days. Each video is almost an hour long... Maybe a bit to much, or you have to view it in parts during the coming week...
