    "Beyond backstage" a nice clip

One of my favourite photographers Lars Tunbjörk is featured in a clip from agence VU. It's a bit old, but I enjoyed it:

    Check out his work at:

Have seen a few of his exhibitions. He wet prints his stuff, even up to 100 cm wide.

This is really a nice clip to see. I enjoyed it much, give so much information behind the scenes i did never hear before.

I like his approach a lot. In these and in his other pictures I can feel as if I'm a objective stranger watching some surreal events and phenomena.

He does march to a different drummer which is commendable.
Only problem I have is the flash.
    It's kind of a T Richardson thing.
I understand it's look some go for but...

I do like what he is seeing though.

I can't really agree with the T Richardson similarity. Too little coked up models and pictures of genitals in Lars' pictures (if you take into account his other work). Try to pick-up a copy of Lars' book Vinter or Office. There easily worth it.

In a speach he gave he said it was an exhibition by Weegee who inspired him to get a bigger negative and to use flash (I think the exhibition was called full frame weegee).
