(This is my first post on APUG, so go easy on me.)

    Fred Herzog.

He immigrated to Canada from Germany in the early fifties, and shot mostly Kodachrome (at a time when most street photographers were still shooting B&W). He's one of my absolute favourite photographers, and is (IMHO) sadly under-appreciated

Another vote for Fred Herzog. Saw him first at c/o Berlin as a side show of Lindbergh and yes, he has stolen him the show. http://www.equinoxgallery.com/artist...io/fred-herzog

Best street photographers as per me are Nils Jorgensen, Narelle Autio, Tim Baur, Egill Ibsen and Trent Parke. The best of works I have ever seen.

    Great additions!

This stuff from Narelle Autio is fantastic... it's like underwater street photography -> http://oneoffmag.blogspot.com/2011/0...lle-autio.html
