using rollei ato2.1 25 ortho film to make transparancies from roll film negatives
Does this work? Any one done it? Any tips?
I'm interested in making black and white transparencies for projection. Flexibility and convenience are more important than ultimate quality. Multiple copies a plus too. (otherwise I'd go reversal process)
Thanks, JP

Sure does. Can be done with any B/W film...no experience with this one...but slow is easier to work with than fast. Sandwich emulsion-to-emulsion and expose. As you might expect, this is often preferred over direct reversal as the original is untouched and you now have a copy.

I'm thinking with ortho film It would be a lot easier because you could work with a safe light.

Yes, good point. But check on how sensitive it is. I use ortho litho APHS which is about paper speed and safe under my red lights whereas I've seen fogging on my ADOX Ortho 25.
