Is Inked Magazine changing its name? And if so, is the magazine changing its content?

It's a little bit premature, but yes, the name will be changing the name from Inked to Focus. The content will be changing slightly, although Inked launched as an "arts" magazine, the second issue focused soley upon black and white photography. The focus will broaden a bit by publishing fine art photography...not only black and white but a little bit of color, also. You should subscribe to my newsletter for a press release.

Where did you hear this? I must say however that in my opinion it would be a good move on the publishers part to change the name as Inked had become confused with the Tattoo industry etc.....my issue (the second) is titled INKED....

First they develop, design and make up a premier issue that is eventually recalled because of too many errors. So Issue #2 becomes the premier issue.

Now a name change and change in focus. What does it say about the magazine? Obviously it was not a well thought out concept form the beginning.

Lucky for them its early in the game so the confusion on the part of readers and subscribers will be at a minimum.
