    Edward Chambré Hardman

I came across this photog recently and the site here http://www.mersey-gateway.org/server...chapterId=1570
shows some interesting images. Mr Hardman's house in Liverpool is now a National Trust site and I was wondering if anyone has been.

Hi Schlapp. We met on the Ilford visit as I am sure you'll remember. Yes I was at his studio recently. I wrote about it but I can't remember the thread. Anyway it's well worth a visit. Just bear in mind that it's a guided and timed visit so anyone very deeply into photography may get less time there than he'd like. However in one room you get a chance to play around with several cameras and you see his print rooms etc . It has been preserved exactly as he left it and is photography in a time warp. Not those he actually used but those acquired by the Trust as reflecting the cameras of the era.

    Regards
