Considering that they only be displaying the latest in digital gear, what's the point?

This is not correct. Every analog equipment manufacturer will have a stand. Going to the Shen-Hao stand, and getting some Bergger paper. Samples of Adox paper and Lucky Film.
Talking with Ilford, and looking for a Schneider Super-Symmar 210.

I heard on another forum, that Steve Simmons was going. But, I don't know of anyone on APUG going.

Of course. Frances and I will be there for the whole show, barring mishap (room is already booked, etc.)

Anyone who thinks it will be 'only digital' could not be more wrong. Neither Frances nor I will be covering anything digital except the Digital M (I've been using Leicas for 35 years); other Shutterbug correspondents with deal with the pixels.

I think I've missed one, or maybe two, photokinas in the last 24 years.

As well as for Shutterbug, we'll also be covering it for www.rogerandfrances.com.

    Cheers,

    Roger
