As others have said, I also was not happy with the current issue, and my subscription is on direct debit. Found the mag on issue 2 and stayed with it since, will have to see how long I stay.

In fairness David Corfield had the balls to come here and answer the questions, even if Frank had to ask them 3 times, so I will wait and see before passing jugement.

Will now go and email him with what I would like to see in the mag.

Regards Paul.

Send him a postcard on Ilford's excellent paper-I'm going to as soon as the next round comes along!

I absolutely have the balls to come on here and answer questions - you are my very valued readers! And please don't worry - I've already started commissioning some features which I know will please you greatly. Please bear with me and give me time to implement my changes.
With very best wishes,
David

It's good to know that you're around, David. I hope you'll be an avid reader of APUG as I am. I picked up a lot of bad influences here: Pyro developers, stand development, paper negatives, large format leading to my maintained and growing interest for analogue photography. Looking forward to see the changes you're implementing!

The changes start in earnest on Monday when I shall assume custody of a Leica MP thanks to Leica UK (Cheers Nobby!). The very next day I shall be interviewing Tom Stoddart in London where, among other topics, we shall be comparing cameras and swapping notes on processing etc.
For those of you on here familiar with Les McLean, I'm delighted and privileged to say that he'll be rejoining B&W Photo too, to impart his wisdom. I know he'll read this, so if you're out there in the ether Les, cheers!

Seems like good news all round then David. Oh, and when you get fed-up with that MP, I'd be prepared to give it a longterm test out of the goodness of my heart.

What wisdom he sits in never never land on the Scottish borders, he can't speak with an English accent, and he certainly can't speak with a Scottish accent, his only saving grace is he can speak through his craft and images. Sorry Les . . .

He should have been banished to the Colonies long ago, now however he goes there preaching to the great unwashed, trying to convert them to his ways of photography, which can only be a good thing.

Lets have a lot more of Les in B&W magazine just keep him away from the digital side, we need his preaching to be 110% Analog.

Ian
