Terry, I buy that magazine regularly and it is very good. There is a special issue in the shops at the moment called "2008 Portfolio contest awards". I would recommend it to anyone who loves fine art b/w photography.

Two different mags, one USA one English.

I think Black and White Magazine is the greatest magazine ever in the entire world. My life was a complete waste of time before I discovered this fine publication!
Did I mention that I am website of the month in the july issue???

Anne,

That's amazing that this magazine published in my backyard (Novato, California) can be found in your neck of the woods, but I cannot find the UK B&W magazine over here, but then again from the recent criticism it appears that I am not missing much.

I also just picked up the Portfolio edition, it is very good indeed.

Yes Dave, two magazines. It truly became apparent when I could not find Bjorn Borg on any of the American B&W covers.

I guess that could have been a clue.

Ahhh, that's why I missed it. I haven't been to a Barnes/Borders in ages.

Terry,
You can find anything here, as long as you know where to look!

Getting back on topic, is UK B&W even worth looking for? Glancing through the recent posts I get the feeling that this magazine is past it's prime.

Currently my baseline is B&W (US) and Silvershotz.
