This magazine has been delivered to me with at least a month delay this year.
Since I did not receive any issues this summer I assumed that my subscription run out and I was not informed. I am not going to subscribe again if I am to receive such poor service.

Hi Ari - have you tried taking this up with the subscriptions department of the Publishers (GMC publications). You're much more likely to get a resolution to your problem through them than you are posting complaints at APUG. Same goes for all the other complaints in this thread ... clearly there's nothing wrong with airing your observations on the mag and seeing if others agree, but if you're wanting to shape the content of the mag, I doubt very much you'll succeed without contacting them direct. Cut and paste your post here into an email to Liz if you feel that strongly.

I suspect that Dave refers to the thread, rather than the magazine?

Current issue is one to save as always, hand colouring article very interesting. Down here with few suppliers the advertisements are very useful in inet commerce days, and advertisers do need good exposure.

Just to join the whingers (not all that enthusiastically, though) an annual index a la "Gramophone" would be nice, even if it was on a website.

Regards - Ross

Are there any film magazines left? I haven't found any. Just wondering.

No film web-sites either. You have to scan to post here :-)

Was dissapointed with Lee Frosts attitude in the Eos 1000D review,
Quote from article :- I've spent the last few years steadfastly refusing to give up film in favour of pixels, and rudely sticking a finger ineach ear( while humming in a very annoying way ) whenever anyone tried to convince me otherwise.
But not any more. Oh no. I have seen the light, pilgrims. I have been converted to the life of digital purity and am loving every minute of it. Actually, I have't completely given up on film and doubt that I ever will, but with the recent purchase of a Canon digital outfit its a 50/50 split.

Only read the thing because Lees name was on the banner, wish I had remaind ignorant of the zelous convert ramble.
Oh and Lees score of the camera,
Handling 90%
Performance 92%
Specification 92%
Value for money 94%

Yup he is a good convert who knows which side his bread is butterd.

Have to ask Who needs enimys?

Regards Paul.

Ross thanks for that. I take it you are referring to the Sept issue. Handcolouring - That's a bit more like it. I may never attempt it but at least it is part of the analogue scene that I am curious about.

I don't think it takes Einstein to work out the range of articles that's needed to sell the mag to analogue users. We are not that difficult to please, really we're not.

I'll pop into W. H Smith in Northampton and buy this one. One of the amazing aspects of modern life on the internet is that I get to know what's in a magasine 12 miles away from someone about 12,000 miles away.

I know. It was a joke.

Whoops, pardon Ailsa, nearly turned you into that Scotswoman Aisla (not in anyway to be denigratory of the Celtic race -- I'm digging this hole even deeper, best stop!).
