Default Exhibit of Recent Work

I will be exhibiting recent work with Craig Beal at the Spectrum Art Gallery in Fresno, CA, from April 2-27. We will have a reception from 1-4 on April 6.

Congratulations Merg. Wish I were in the area to see your work.
I have purchased and enjoyed the Weston Wilson video since we last talked on the LFF. Absolutely wonderful Thank you.

Thanks, John.

I am pleased to hear that you enjoyed the EW/Charis film. I have given it high praise as you know, so always good to hear positive feedback.

Your abstractions are incredibly balanced, but the computer screen only hints at what the full impact of the prints must be. I'd love to be there to slowly drink them in, but I can't

Murray, thank you for the kind comments.

As you may have noted, much of my inspiration is derived from numerous trips to Canada over the past fifty years. Although mostly from the western region, in particular Vancouver Island, I have also traversed the country as far east as the Gaspe peninsula. I was curious to know where you are located in BC.

Best regards,
Merg

Merg:

I'll see if I can help here.

Murray is in Kitimat. I hope this gives you an idea:

Yup, that's me. I'm at the end of a 60 mile channel that cuts through the Coast Mountain Range, in a small town that's perched on the edge of Paradise

Matt, thanks. With your help I have located Kitimat. Now, I understand the meaning of North Coast, BC. I must confess to having never been that far north; it looks a bit remote and I bet it is beautiful.

Regards,
Merg

Murray, I was writing while you were.

Yes, I can believe the Paradise reference. So much of what I have seen of BC gives a similar impression. I love the place, and keep returning.

Regards,
Merg
