Default Review of f295 Exhibition

here's a link to a review of the show:

http://www.pittsburghcitypaper.ws/gy...id=oid%3A48382

Overall I think it's a nicely done review and complementary. BUT to address her last point:
There is a binder in the front of the gallery with each of the artists' bio's & other information. So, there IS information about the images at the gallery just not hung with each picture . This, of course, was intentional with the idea that it woud.....

a) spur artist-viewer dialogue on opening night (most of the artists were in attendance)
and
b) to deemphasize process/technique & encourage appreciation of the image

If any APUGers get a chance to see it and are in PGH let me know!

-Tom

I can vouch that it's a great show and worth seeing before it comes down. I could stand and look at several of the images for a long time - not just a glance and pass on type of show.
