It wouldn't suprise me if the real pain in the magazine industry is nothing to do with consumers but with the advertizers. The ad market hasn't exactly been robust the last few years. OTOH there is no doubt that some sort of shakeout is being caused by the internet. Years ago you bought the computer mags for the ads. Today if you want to find some info on a something you surf over to the website. Magazines with no orginal content are dead. Magazines heavily reliant on ad revenue aren't doing well either.

Aggie, I have never had a web site. In fact, the only two places I have images on the internet are located in Calumet's site under the photocafe and over at f32.net. At the Calumet site they were nice enough to put some images up and as I was a very early guest, it is now archived and you have to dig some but they are still there. here is a link to the f32.net images.

Ya but then they would confuse us with American Photo. What a piece of trash! The old American Photographer magazine was great. To bad it had to go the way it did to stay in business.

Hey maybe you could have articles like:

Pyro sluts do it in the dark
25 secrets to make your negs scream
10 ways to slim down those thick negs
Secrets AA would never tell you
The imoral lives of split printers
Sorry guys - bigger is better, sexy darkroom gals tell what it's like to handle a LF neg!
