Bill Schwab at Camerawork Gallery, Portland, OR

A shameless plug and invite to those living in the greater Portland, Oregon area to come see my work at the Camerawork Gallery. The show will run from November 30, 2009 thru January 1, 2010 and will feature about 25 of my silver gelatin prints with the theme of where land meets water.

I'd also like to extend a big thank you to fellow APUGger, Robert Brummitt for his help in making this exhibition possible.

For an Adobe PDF Preview of the prints in the show, click Here.

    Thanks!

Looks tempting Bill -- I've always wanted to see your work in person. I have some time off in early December, I just may have to do a road trip down to Portland to check it out.

Anybody going to see this is in for a visual treat! You simply cannot imagine how great Bill's prints are until you see one in person. There is no exaggeration at all in that statement, his work is some of the most inspirational I have ever beheld.

You're lucky if you live nearby, and you MUST go see it if you possibly can.

Technology is not a panacea. It alone will not move your art forward. Only through developing your own aesthetic - free from the tools that create it - can you find new dimension to your work.
