Ralph, glad to hear you are recovering.
It does take time to come back from a stroke.
My wife had a stroke in 2005, and while it took a little over a year, she is back to her old self.
No, I didn't say my wife is old, she is just as sharp witted as ever.

    Continued good health to you.

In a world that is seemingly full of bad news, this is refreshing good news.

Great to have you back Ralph! Take your time, it is more important that you are doing alright than anything else.
Once a photographer is convinced that the camera can lie and that, strictly speaking, the vast majority of photographs are "camera lies," inasmuch as they tell only part of a story or tell it in a distorted form, half the battle is won. Once he has conceded that photography is not a "naturalistic" medium of rendition and that striving for "naturalism" in a photograph is futile, he can turn his attention to using a camera to make more effective pictures.
