Doesn't have a lot of ads and they are Canadian dealers/shops. A rareity here when most other mags have more NYC shop ads than pics.
B&W the USA version that you picked up has taken a stance a few months back to only take analog submissions. No digital is accepted. You will hear more about that magazine here on apug in the next couple of months. I wish I could say more, but It will be a pleasant surprise.

Evidently Barnes & Noble will carry it, but you have to ask them to order it if they aren't already getting it.

My local B&N had Lenswork, B&W Photography (tulips on front), and B&W (I think - Egrets on the front right now), but no B&W Enthusiast. They did say they would order it for me the next time they get a shipment.

When the APUG mag was first touted I was going to grab a copy of this to send to Aggie as an example of a small specialist magazine but couldn't find one on the shelves here in Aus. I've browsed it but never actually bought it because the news stand price here, I'm pretty sure, is quite expensive. It seems to be published by Fotospeed ( http://www.fotospeed.com.au/ ). I recently saw it again but balked at the price they were asking. B&W Photography (UK) costs me $13.95 ($10US) and I like to buy a UK motorsport mag that's even dearer and that just about tops out my monthly magazine budget! I'm going to have another look and compare the subscription proces versus the newstand one!

Nige you will laugh. Yesterday in the discussions about a magazine in England named AG that is a Black and White magazine, I thought it was that one I had purchsed in April. As it turns out I have an April copy of Black and White Enthuiast the one with a color picture of 7 pears on the cover. The cover may be color, the rest is all Black and Ehite. The price was $5.99 and I purchased it in aof all places, a Smith's grocery store in St. George Utah. It is 32 pages in length. Their website says they are increasing to 40 pages. I'm glad to see such a magazine out there.

$5.99! Maybe the further from the source the cheaper it gets!

    Forty Pages?!
As I remember, if you stripped the advertising out of Popular Photography, you were left with about two and a half pages of actual content .
That is called grain. It is supposed to be there.

Not only does it become cheaper, it actually becomes easier to find.

Easy to find in St. George Utah. Can't find it in the bay area of California.
