It must be pretty amazing to see that entire show in person.

Congratulations to all of the artists involved.

So, you finally found an 8D, eh? Did you have to commit unnatural acts to procure it?

I heard that the procurement was easy compared to getting it across the border undetected. Hence the reason he named it what he did!

    Monty,

I was just about to make a new thread for a different gallery opening in Brooklyn, NY. It's at the Brooklyn Artists Gym in Brooklyn, NY on 03 Dec 2011. One of our featured artists is none other than Melitte Buchman!

Our best to you on the opening tomorrow, it is a tremendous occasion. I wish that I could be there to see the work of your group and celebrate in your success.

Wonderful opening. The place was packed. And what a dresser that McCutchen is. I simply must have the name of his tailor.

Agreed - wonderful opening. And an amazing show. Breathtaking work all the way round, a great example of the continuing viability of wet plate in the 21st century as an expressive medium. And a huge kudos to the curators and gallery staff who hung the show- they had eighty or so pieces on the wall, and it looked at least as well hung if not better than shows I've seen in major commercial galleries and museums.

It's a pity you can't get a good look at the shoes from these photos - sneakers with silver nitrate stains all over them.
