Actually, I saw one of these bands recently... and yep, they were pretty good

'The Handsome Beasts' are local heros from my part of the World are still going strong, albeit with a new line up.

The rather obese chap posing in his birthday suit with the pig ( ) was Garry Dalway, known universally as 'Flabby'. Alas he died, unsurprisingly perhaps, of heart failure about six years ago... Bit of a legend, he was. RIP.

Wow, I remember that W.A.S.P. cover from when I was in high school. At the time it was so transgressive that I don't think many people really noticed how patently ridiculous it was---as far as I remember, people were seriously afraid that it was going to turn their children into manic codpiece-bandsawers. The Eighties were a strange era.
