    Sun Angle Calculator

I found this website today that landscape photographers may find very useful, Christopher Gronbeck (sun position calculator) www.susdesign.com/sunangle. I'm sorry I don't know how to do a link.

This is a really great calculator. When you have to travel into the back-country and you want to be sure the sun is right when you get there, this calculator can save you another round trip! I recommend it.

Great app for the desktop or the pocket PC, especially when used with a good compass/clinometer, when you can predict when and where the sun or moon will rise or set.

I cheat. The U.S. Navy has the tables worked out for any year and any latitude - longitude. It gives the sunrise, sunset, moonrise, moonset, time of day and altitude - azimuth. If you live in the U.S. just type in a city. I know this is cheating, but I hate that much math or computational B.S. with a palm or whatever. Sorry, never make it as a geek (perhaps a camera geek?) tim
