Subscription Expiration Notice
Good Morning,
In today's e-mails, I received a notice stating, incorrectly, that my subscription will soon expire.
I could hit "Reply" to deal with this, but I wonder if the message is just spam or "phishing."
I sent a $30.00 check (my # 8075) to Sean on April 6; my bank records indicate that it was cashed on April 27.
Please clarify.

try PMing Sean, He's really good about taking care problems that come up.
-
Yes, I know. I just wasn't sure that the message came directly from Sean.

I also got that message. I have been sending a check a month for $10 US and my computer is set up to do that until I tell it not to. If you do not get a check either my computer is dead or I am. If my computer dies I will get another. If I die you will have to get another subscriber. Is there not a way you can tell your computer to sign me up for life? You can tell me if 120 bucks a year is not enough, but I would hate to have my rights diminished if my check does not get there soon enough.
Sincerely,
Pat "Gadget" Gainer.

Now every time I open APUG I find I am not a subscriber. Why? If $10 US per month is not enough, tell me so. Maybe I can scrape out some more. Not too much more, though. I am caring for a grandson, his wife, and my newest great grand daughter on my NASA retirement pension.

By the way, what exactly is the difference between a contributor and a subscriber? Can one who pays $2 a month be granted the privileges of a subscriber while one who pays $10 a month be denied? I am still trying to make sense of this nonsense.

I have been working on your account and should have it fixed shortly, I do not know why it keeps deactivating, stay tuned..

I can tolerate mistakes. I make enough myself. Sometimes it's like the all-automatic airplane. "Nothing can go wrong...go wrong...go wrong..."
