Default New "APUG Groups" Announcement Thread.

A place to notify the community of a new APUG Group that you have created. The groups system is located here: http://www.apug.org/forums/groups

Thanks,
Sean

Group Announcement:
The Balkan APUGers.
created by Sino.

Film photographers from the area join us!

I would have personally liked the group to be named Balkans and Eastern Mediterranean
to include our fellow photographers from the mountains but also from the eastern part of the sea,
such as Turkey and the Middle East. Is there a way to change the name of the group?

Ari, I totally agree with you, it would make a lot of sense. Why not Balkans & Aegean.

It would have at least 3 members then instead of one

Ian

Hey Ari & Ian,

I've tried but I can't change the name. Maybe an admin can? I wasn't aware there is such a demand :-)

Okay, I've temporarily changed the group title to "Balkan, Aegean, and Eastern Mediterranean APUGers." The discussion can continue over there in the group forum.

Thank you David. I think though "Aegean" is redundant as the only countries enclosing it is Greece and Turkey and Eastern Mediterranean covers it. Yep, there has to be a committee and a whole discussion just for the name of the group. It sounds like a meeting for a new revolutionary communist party.

I've been tinkering with the Delmarva group and seem to have admin capabilities as pertains to the group. Everything seems to be running smoothly there, Sean.
