I've seen this on the web last year (may not have been the same site) and thought it was pretty cool. Some really good work and all from the same day! Glad it's a continuing annual event.
Now I don't have a pinhole camera yet but I have been callled a "pinhead" a few times, do I qualify?

Darn. I was going to say I thought I might qualify until I re-read the bit about pinhole instead of pinhead.
Then, I noticed Rogueish had already stolen my punder. (sniff, sniff)

I am trying to talk my partner teacher into doing something with me since we have state testing next week. It could be fun. I have everything I need to turn our classrooms int darkrooms. She is a bit hesitant, though. If we pull it off there will be fifty five 6th grade pinholers running around with their own cameras, that they make.

Mark, I did this in 4th grade and it was a blast. We didn't use film, but made negative images on paper--we thought this was even cooler!
Let's see what I've got in the magic trash can for Mateo!

Mark- If you need any extra info (such as camera building & teacher's materials) let me know... I have links to a few sites that really help out. I spent a couple of days with a High School photo class & taught them how to make foam-core cameras. It was a blast!

It is a go. WooHoo. I have everything I need except the focal length. I want to use 5x7 paper for the negs and I want a fairly wide angle. WOuld seven inches be enough and still have the circle cover the paper or should I go closer to 9 inches for the focal length?
John,
The links would be great. Thanks.
