Pictures on color film turning Red?

I recently created a small pinhole camera out of a new roll of film running through a film canister and then winding into an old roll of film. I have been shooting onto cheap 200 Kodak color or 400 Fuji color film. Most of the shots have been indoors under tungsten lighting, although some have been outside. The inside ones are turning out red and the outside ones turn out yellow. There are never any other colors like blue or green. I am just curious if anyone knows why I am not getting any other colors? Could it be due to a light leak?

I do like the effect the odd colors are giving my pictures but I am just curious as to why it is happening?

One possibility is that the film is upside down. You get red images when you expose through the base.

On the other hand, it's normal to get a yellow-red image indoors under tungsten light with daylight film, and it could be that the long exposure with the pinhole camera is causing a color shift due to reciprocity law failure, so there could be multiple effects going on.

How are you printing these? Another possibility is that the colors are correctable, but if you're giving the film to a lab, their automated machinery can't deal with the negs.
