I'm sure this as been asked before, but I have not found the answer. The Lynx 5000 is the shutter mechanical or electric? Any advice would be appreciated.

All the Lynx series of cameras are mechanical, the 1000, 5000 and 14.

Thanks guys for your quick reply, I was hoping for mechanial. Battery with correct voltage seems hard to find.
